About

FIBER ART

Amanda is self-taught in crochet, macrame and hand embroidery. She is especially prolific in crochet, having made dozens of blankets, hats, mittens, sweaters, pillows, socks and other items. While these media are often pigeonholed as handicrafts, Amanda sees them as important forms of folk art.

Amanda occasionally makes items available for sale, and is always open to commission proposals.
